Its been a while since i last updated. Im really sorry if you keep clicking back to this page to find the same old entries over and over again. :(

Recently, i made some changes to my life. Yup, new boy. The boy is nice and sweet. We will see how it goes.

I have been losing direction with my work. No, its not becos of other distractions but somehow, im stuck in a rut. I dont know why or how to get it going again. I have to work harder. Maybe its because im getting complacent. That is extremely bad attitude. Ok, i will try harder. Someone give me a pep talk pls.

It just seems like a page of out a novel or a scene of a movie.

I was sitting on a park bench, alone. My gaze held no expectations and without focus. It was just me for a while. I couldn’t recall where he came from or when he sat next to me. All that made sense to me was the warmth of his hands and the rhythm of his breathing. He didn’t say anything and he didn’t have to. I knew everything that I needed to know.

Saturday Night's joint:

I didnt know what i was truly in for until the sight of the huge chocolate fondue greeted me near the entrance. 3 tiers of flowing chocolate. Charlie would have been a truly happy man.

You would think that with the amount of money we paid to eat there, food would be the top priority. Wrong.

Here, let me show you why.

That aside, food was good in terms of variety. I tried almost everything except Carbs because i think its such a waste of money to load up the carbs at buffets.

Ok, i woke up feeling happy today. None of the i-dread-Monday vibes. The haze isnt so bad today. Checked my smses.

Mom: Please call me when you are awake.

So i called her. She was at work. It kinda ticked me off a lil because we were supposed to go for breakfast today. So she started with the whole thing about " how i should know that breakfast timing means i have to wake up at 7am etc". Time check: 9:46am.

"Fine, next time, pls specify. I really cannot read minds, mom," i replied.

I understand why you have to work so hard. I do. After 20 years of understanding, just cut me some slack. I am not needy. Its not too much to ask my own mom to spend 1 day with me when we dont eat together for 6 days a week, is it.

I hate listening to people's dreams and expectations for me. Why should i listen to what YOU WANT ME TO DO? Go lead your own life. Stop telling me what you wish i will do etc. I am not here to help you to carry on with your boring life.

Vicious cycle once again.

Here i am, trying to path my own way thru but yet i keep getting sucked back into the vaccum. I hate it. I hate to be conventional. There isnt much to think about. I know what i want. The reward at the end is just way too attractive for me to let go. Work hard? Work harder.

Thats me. Perhaps im not THAT jaded yet.

The Yoga classes have taught me to focus. Bring the awareness back to myself and concentrate. FOCUS. Be kind to myself.

Love Life.

What is life? How do you define your life?

My life is validated by my family. I am a grand daughter, daughter, sister, cousin and aunt.
I like my life. No matter what happens, i have my rock and i know they will always be there for me.

I go to work, meet my friends, exercise, think about things i wanna do and think about the goals i wanna accomplish. It all seems very mundane to some but that is my life. I dont like the pace of time but the urgency makes me treasure it even more than ever.

Life is also about sharing happines and sadness. Be each other's pillar and support.

Loving life is about loving everything about yourself. Love your flaws because that is what makes you human. It will be an absolute disaster if the world exsists without a trace of imperfection. It pushes us to be better all the time since we can never ever get there.

I love my life.

Where is the love?

After a couple break up, where does the love go? Does it disappear into thin air? Perhaps its chucked into one of those "skeleton closets" that is better left untouched. Out of sight, out of mind? Maybe.

Cynical?

I wanted to blame my surrounding for my cynical viewpoint of love and relationships. After all, the notion of no pain no gain is pretty popular. Why does it have to hurt? Are we all just too bloody masochistic for our own good? I have to admit, me being cynical is my way of not having expectations so i wouldnt be disappointed. Uh huh, im a bloody coward.

I guess Hossan Leong is on to something.

The perfect marriage is not when the perfect couple come together. It’s when two imperfect individuals spend their life time learning to enjoy each other’s differences.

I dont think i can ever settle for something less. Its either all or nothing. Hanging in the balance is such a waste of time. Like i always say, life is too short.

I am so tired.

Matters like using packets of tissue papers to "chop" seats amuse the hell out of me. Its a whole new transition and a whole new culture. What if someone throw your tissue away? Yell at him. " Which company you work for? Where are your bloody ethics!!!!". No, i have not yet encounter an incident like that yet.

I am so tired.

I dont dread going to work everyday although i am still very unsure if this is the job for me. However, im just too stubborn to give up at such an early stage. I just have a problem getting out of bed every morning.

I am so tired.

I have not completed my work for the day, i wanna sign up for classes, i am working towards New York. At the end of the day, its all about family. I like coming home and having my family ask me, " Hows your day at work today?". I love grandma calling me at work, asking me to go over for dinner but letting me know that its ok if i couldnt go over because of work. Im not ready to give up. Not ready to throw in the towel.

I am so tired.

Time is truly precious. Im sorry i wasted so much of it. I know i have photos unsent, emails not replyed to, people i havent met for a while and things i havent had the time to do. Please forgive me, dear friends.

Thank god i am not claustrophobic. The massive turnout for the Firework Festival was justified though. The fireworks were great! I agree, we do need fireworks moments from time to time.

I have been playing so much! When Nuan-san asked me what i have been up to, i couldnt remember because i did so much stuff!

My room is in a mess, have to do laundry soon and im not sleeping at decent hours.

The transistion to working life is going to take a huge toll on me but im looking forward to it, strangely.

Went to Mushroom Pot with Nuan-san and i have to say it again, I LOVE MUSHROOMS! Its interesting how i see a little of myself in Nuan. I feel that we are somewhat similar yet different. Im glad to know someone who i can share some of my thoughts with. Doors theory, my friends. And i was given a pair of really cool pens! Its so cute that Will's not getting his share because im keeping it. Ha ha ha!

Cabaret!

I wanted to watch Cabaret because Fei Xiang is leading the cast. That WAS my intention. Of course, i am lured by anything that is Moulin Rouge-Chicago.

The show is more than that.

In Cabaret, against the turmoils and instabilities as backdrop of a 1930s Berlin, the appeal of courage and faith comes from the elderly Herr Schultz to Fraulein Schneider.

The land of scorching sun, fine sand and warm beaches. Where you wont be able to walk past any tuk tuk touts without a flair of bluffing and skills of declining. You can wear your heart on your sleeves or don a t-shirt for your needs as a matter of fact * I dont want a fucking tuk tuk or massage, thank you very much* and be rest assured, someone will fufilled it. After all, money is the official language there.

All that being said, i really admire the Thais. They believe in service with a smile and their resilience to adversities is really encouraging. In fact, the only remains from the destructive Tsunami in 2004 are the gorgeous beaches, newly built restaurants and beachfront accomodations. What a come back! Big, better with a Bang!

We booked a trip to explore Phang Nga Bay-home to the famous James Bond Island. It was a 40 mins ride to Ao Poh Pier to catch the boat. The landscape of Phuket is amazing. The quaint lil towns and carefree lifestyle are the allures of Phuket.

Last pitstop for our Phang Nga Bay trip: Lawa Island. It rained heavily shortly after we landed. Hence, we took shelter with "Ah-Pa" and "Shuai-Ge". We tried teaching them English and they tried learning the language. It was a mess.lol
