    //Laundry Day

    I have nothing to wear. And i hate doing laundry. Partly because my subconscious tells me that i should hire a maid just to wash my dirty wear, tidy my house, cook, clean...do everything for me. Ohhh wait! okay im snapped back to reality. Where was i? Oh yeah laundry. Filthy laundry. Argh! I have to take care of that. Sigh.

    Eating my home cooked lunch "bee tai bak" right now. Its been a while since i cooked at home. Tastes homely.

    My classes are starting back up tomorrow and i had a vacation break for two weeks. Originally, i wanted to use the 2 weeks to catch up on my studies but no no. My mind said "Yes" but my heart said "No". Sadly, i tend to follow what my heart wants. I spent 2 precious weeks playing computer games and hanging out. Thats bad. Really bad.

    Oh and i still have to do laundry today. Bad bad bad.

    Lets see...what did i do on Sunday.....

    Went for a "Powerwalk" with my mom at Sembawang park in the morning. It was nice. I didnt know i could perspired just by walking really fast. LOL Then both of us went out with Florence and Patsy. Went to Camper's Corner at Capitol Building. The store is pretty well stocked and im surprised that they have " Patagonia"! Staff is friendly. I didnt buy anything though. Thinking about going camping sometimes. " Get in touch with me "WILD" side you know....LOL yeah im pretty mild on normal days contrary to what others think. ROAR! Later we went looking for shoes but didnt see any i like. Im too picky. Im looking at my toe right now and i think i might have to go back to the doctor AGAIN to remove the ingrown nail. Its starting to hurt badly again.

    Now the happy part. We went to Mango at City hall and stayed there for almost an hour and a half just trying on almost EVERYTHING. Breezed in and out of the dressing room. I must had tried on 20 different clothings.Im a big fan of Mango and Zara. I think my mom and Florence caught the "MAngo" Bug from me. LOL My mom is starting to buy more and more of their stuff. Florence bought this really nice and EXPENSIVE suit. Im actually surprised that they have it in her size. She is so tiny. Patsy was acting like an usher or rather a hanger. "Take this for me dear...oh hang on to this for me " Poor girl. In the end, me and my mom settled for 2 pieces each. Thanks mom! Then we saw the President's Star Charity live telecast. Saw Edmund Chen ( Really a nice guy), Zoe Tay ( Looks like she never aged), Chew CHor Meng (Pretty tall in real life) and the cast of Homerun (well they are kids). Shopped some more. We had dinner at Out of the pan- famously known as " the restuarant by the fountain". Its a crepes place. We shared Teriyaki Cod wrapped in Sundried tomato flour, Smoked Salmon in Whole Wheat flour, chicken noodles and fresh berries waffles. The cod is pretty good except that its a tad too sweet for my taste. Smoked salmon leaves less to be desired as it a tad too creamy with the huge dose of mayonnaise in the crepe roll. Fresh berries however was a wonderful delight with the extra cinnamon or nutmeg ( I think its cinnamon) in the waffles with honey and custard. Lovely... of course, im on a sugar boost for the night. Damn the sweets!

    As for today, well laundry laundry and more laundry. Hope to study a little and then off to watch Michael Buble in concert.

    I am still feeling a little blue...maybe its the case of the mondays. However, going out and just relax really worked for me.

    P/S Winnie: Will try to go with you one of these days. Hopefully. Glad you had fun!
