Apparently, my baby grub has been revolting tummies ever since i posted the picture up. I have been getting messages on how disgusting it looks.

My darlings, of course it looks disgusting. Even i think so. However, the taste is so comforting and heavenly that i made it again today. Ha ha!

Dont judge a dish by the way it looks. Tsk tsk.

On another note, i watched The Myth today. Hmrpf. The story was alright but it didnt flow well at all. I would rather watch Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in " Wedding Crashers" over and over again. But since the movie was a treat, i guess beggers cant be choosers. :P Thanks for the movie anyways. :)

I am always torn between both sides. Apparently, co-exsistence just doesnt work. It doesnt help that i am fickle-minded. Cant anyone just cut me some slack? I wish i can do whatever the other parties want to do. Sometimes i feel like i have to please everybody. If i dont, there will be consequences to pay.

Get this straight, i want everyone to be happy but i cant please everybody. I can only try and make of what is infront of me. There has got to be room for failures and tolerance.

    Enough of the emo crap.

5 modules are killing me. Assignments, assignments and more assignments. If you see me at 24 hours Macdonalds, say hi!

    Baby grub! Posted by Picasa

I am really lazy. When im at home in the afternoons, its unlikely i would wanna go out and grab lunch at the nearby plaza. Hence, i would either starve until i cant take it, which would force me to walk a mere 5 mins to the plaza reluctantly, or i would just make something up with minimum effort and fuss. Its the cleaning up i hate.

Simple fare would be a tuna sandwich. I am not a big fan of tuna but im just too lazy. When i am in a better mood, i will make "baby grub". It looks disgusting but its simple to make and tasty!! TRUST ME!

Because it is so delicious, i shall not deny you of the recipe. Ha ha! Trust me, its really tasty.

Step 1: Raid your fridge. See whats left inside. Bits and pieces. Left over raw food or something. I found a piece of Mackerel, a small tomato, cremini mushrooms and some raw marinated chicken.

Step 2: Chop! Slice! all the ingredients into bite size.

Step 3: Wash the rice! I would use brown rice because i like the taste. Weirdo? Nah.. its just acquired taste. Ha ha! But i ran out of brown rice so i used white ones instead. It tasted better too.

Step 4: Place all the ingredients in the rice pot. Add water. Depending on how mashed you want the food to be. I like my food to be soft so i will add more water to get the whole " baby grub" texture. Add some seasonings like soya sauce, pepper, whatever that pleases you. Try not to add too much. You wanna taste the natural flavours. Not moldy soya beans in a processing factory.

Step 5: Plug the appliance in and press start!

Step 6: Sit on your ass and wait until its ready.

Step 7: Eat! Out of a plate, rice pot, who cares?! You should be famished by now!

    Step 8: Thank me.

P/S: This dish and method always works for me. Try it at your own risk.

    Lotsa shopping done today.
Mine was at the very minimal.
    Dad would have been proud.
Gotta save up for that new Prada design.
I am always saving up for something.
    Its all talk.
I always fufill my wants, not my needs.
    Extremely bad.
    Mom bought 2 bags today.
    Indulgence.
    Like mother like daughter.
    Insufficient storage space at home.
    I am tired.
School is awesome but i hate waking up early.
    I have plans.
    I am broke.
    Damnit.
I am just lazy to write down the details.

The both of us were bored at night so we went down to the club lounge to chill and listen to the live music. It was nice. The atmosphere was relaxing. The alcohol wasnt that expensive compared to SG. The Daiquiri was prolly about SGD 8. The singer was singing all our favourite songs , sorta. Posted by Picasa

We carried on drinking in the room with the Barcadis we bought earlier.Couldnt resist since alcohol was so bloodly cheap. We bought the Bacardis at SGD 2 a bottle!!! We didnt have a bottle opener. Hence, Ronald resorted to his trick of using the window edges. Posted by Picasa

Saturday morning was spent at the Chatuchak weekend market. It was my best shopping experience at that place ever. Normally i would be tired after 3 hours with nothing to show for but this time, i got lotsa great bargains. Bought a lamp for under SGD10 and a frame for SGD 4 among other things. It was so awesome. I wished i bought more lamps. Damn. I have a fondness for bohemian and contemporary lamps, candle holders, beads stuff and dark wooden frames. Wenqi was the big buyer though. We spent our time browsing thru the decorations sections mostly. Will take the pictures of the lamp and frame sometime. Ron was being a gem. He didnt complain at all. Not a single time during the 5 hours. He was helping with the shopping bags, giving suggestions and waiting patiently. Qi and me were impressed. Most guys would have budge their way out i guess. Posted by Picasa

We woke up at 530am in the morning to catch the 7am train to Ayutthaya. Qi left the keys inside the room and we had to get the staff to retrieve it for us. For a moment, i thought we were gonna miss the train as we had to spend time buying the tickets as well. A short history of Ayutthaya: It was originally founded in 1350 and over the next few decades, developed to be the capital of the Siamese Kingdom.Ayutthaya is like an island surrounded by three rivers that act as natural barriers for defense. Ayutthaya was both the administrative and economic center of the kingdom and filled with a great diversity of people from different areas. The day trip to Ayutthaya was the main highlight for me. We were planning to have a day trip and was pondering with Kanchanaburi or Ayutthaya. The latter won because of a shorter ride and rich period history. Kanchanaburi will have to wait.  Posted by Picasa
