When i read the archives, i just feel like deleting it. I want to delete my entire past. I know the past makes me who i am today. I am proud to be me but i am not happy about the past. Somehow, i feel that i never learn my lessons well enough. It keeps repeating and i cant run away from it.

    I shouldnt be.
    I shouldnt be.

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you
    By now you should've somehow
    Realized what you gotta do
    I don't believe that anybody
    Feels the way I do
    About you now

Backbeat the word is on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
    I don't believe that anybody
    Feels the way I do
    about you now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would
    Like to say to you
    But I don't know how

    Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
    And after all
    You're my wonderwall

Ally and Me @ Gotham Penthouse  Posted by Hello

Saturday was pretty hectic for me. Rushing from place to place. Went to Glady's in the morning and came home in the late afternoon. Rushed to Cass's party at Watson's studio. I love being in that place. Its so contemporary. I love it. Met up with Ally, Melis and her friend Pam at Gotham later in the night. Thought of leaving early before going but ended up leaving at 3am. Gosh i was so tired. Saw some guy trying to dance like "chickens" and robots. LOL Funny as hell.

    Anyways,
Cass, Happy 21st Birthday. Looking prettier everyday. Keep smiling always.

Chen Jia Gen's memorial park in Jimei. Short history: He was a local who travelled to Nanyang, owner of rubber plantations, supported China war movements and education. Gave all his money to education when he died at the age of 83 i think. Set up Tao Nan School in SG among others.  Posted by Hello

Xiamen- 3 hours' ride from Fu Zhou. This is the place.. not exact but generally, the area where my great grandparents came from. I was so thrilled to go "back home" . We stayed in Xiamen's University!!! The campus was so huge but i didnt get to visit it all. However, the difference between them and Singaporean students are so evident. * I know i am stereotyping but pardon me.* They transcend the thirst of education, of learning.  Posted by Hello

Holy crap, i dont remember the name of this place. It was situated on top of a mountain ( most temples are). The temple housed 4 huge god statues and have captions all over.. on the rocks, trees etc. I felt like i walked into a place of propaganda. Posted by Hello

Aunt Florence and Uncle Ben. Its amazing that after 15 years of marriage, you can feel that they really care for each other. It was so genuine. No pretense. Uncle Ben was so kind to show us around despite heavy workload.  Posted by Hello

Minhou- Horse riding on the first day. The beauty of this place was breathtaking. The horses kinda smelled bad but well, when in Rome, do what the Romans do. When in Minhou, ride the stinky horses. LOL The boss, Mr Ma ( How fitting) was a nice host. However i wasnt pleased at all when he put snake meat on my plate during dinner.  Posted by Hello
