You want to know what girls do when they get their hearts broken? They cry. Not the normal *boo hoo* cries, rather, its more of those "lying in bed, half trying to sleep, half sobbing" cries. And they dont eat. They just walk around all day around the house with an imaginary "filled" stomach.
Mom: You havent been eating for a long time. You want some kirsch? Abalone? Something??!!
Heart-broken daughter: Well mom, i am just not hungry. (Secret code for " Oh i just wanna lose a couple of pounds so i can look better and feel sexy. Show that bastard that it is his loss!")
Back to "half crying and half sleeping" mode.
If you look around the country, you can tell how many girls have their hearts broken. We are the skinny country. And that is why most of the times, i will be able to get my "L" size. Literally no one to fight with me.
Lady: Hey that is my "L" size t-shirt! I saw it first!

The above never happened to me before which means that our country is full of skinny heartbroken women.
And since i dont fit into the skinny nor heartbroken category, what do i do? I eat. I eat whatever is in my fridge. In fact, i just finished a tub of apricot gelato that i got from Olio Factory sale on Sunday. A freakin tub of gelato. Great Carina. When you move on to XL, you could be sure that no one will fight with you for a t-shirt.
I cant help it. I just had to finish that tub. And now i feel guilty. Damn apricot gelato. Damn you. You have to be so delicious. You have to tempt me with those sweet toppings. You and mashed potatoes are the same. You guys are not comfort food. You are guilt food. * i should check into a looney rehab.. i know* How many of you out there have fall into the lies of comfort food? Thats what i thought. They hide under the disguise that they will make you feel better but thats all wrong! Its like Pilates. First, you get comfortable but once your done with it, you ache all over. Well no. Its more like mind blowing sex. But if you have sex after eating guilt food, at least you would burn some calories. But i didnt!!!! No mind blowing fantastic sex. Just.... *sigh* guilt food.
So more pounds on my already-blotted ass. Now i am depressed.

The wind is blowing in the other direction. Cindy went to the psych class on monday! Which means i would have to endure the torture myself for 3 hours on thursday! Oh no! No one to mock others endlessly with me! LOL.. No one for me to crap with for 3 whole hours! *sob sob* Then i just found out Win is going to Tampines for training. Sorry gal. Cant lunch with you on Thursdays.
I got hungry around 10-11pm. A cook's tour was on. And guess.. what.. they put Singapore in a ten min session when Anthony Bourdain was talking about Thailand. COME ON! Discovery Channel! Is that a real blooper? We are small but not THAT small. I am hungry again. Okay more yoghurt.

I had to say, this week wasn’t bad at all. Thanks to those people who screwed me, Ally, Val and Kelvin up, I actually had this weekend off. I rearranged my class schedule and then I was told that I wont be working this week. Okay so I was free from Thur to Sun. Whats a gal to do?
I went with my cousins and grandparents to the club on Thursday! Jacuzzi! Not bad. And my grandma tried to show me her swimming skills. Much respect to this woman. She is really amazing. She waddled here and there in the hot hot pool. Then I just went and jumped into the ice pool! The water was freezing and I literally felt the goose bumps and the rush of blood to my brain. The steam room wasn’t that great. Too hot and it was rather uncomfortable. Then she treated us to dinner! It was rather nice. On the way to the restaurant, I told her that it was fun to hang out with them and she said “Yeah. It is heartwarming,” I love you grandma! My grandpa went off to the Jack pot room and the rest of us went bowling. I really sucked at it. My 70 yr old grand ma totally creamed me!!!!!!! She actually cleared the pins several times!!!!!! I should have known. She brought her own bowling shoes. I am going to demand a rematch!!!
Friday, poor cousin Jo and Gladys. I was at their home, using their com and playing Sims 2 for about 7 hours, I think? They were really generous by letting me does that. That game wasn’t bad! I like the new game play but I am not a big fan of the graphics. Then Jo cooked dinner. Japanese curry rice with miso soup. I am so proud of her. 16 yr old but she could whip up a delicious meal. Thumbs up! I wished I had more but I was so full! DELISH!! Then I went and watched The Incredibles with LT and Pang! Saw a lot of old friends and exchanged numbers. It was quite surreal actually. Seeing all of them move on with their lives, on to Australia, etc. Suddenly we weren’t 16 anymore.
LT drove me to Stacey’s birthday chalet on Saturday. Met up with Pauline, Steph, Seng, Carson etc. I haven’t seen them in a while since everyone is rather busy. Stace bought an enormous amout of food! She kept pushing it to us. Bring it home! LOL You want me to bring home a big bag of uncooked chicken wings? Are you serious? LOL It was really fun to meet up with all of them again.
I miss those silly days.

I just spent the whole evening cleaning my desk, changing my bed sheets and doing laundry. What is it about getting dirty and then clean again? I swear, in a non offensive way, that i would put all the rubbish and make my room really dirty. Like... hmm i would not make my bed, throw rubbish all around , wrappers, papers, bottles, condoms...... HA HA! Gotcha..Ha ha! Na h.. i dont throw those around. Eww Car! Gross! What is the matter with you! Eww
But somehow i get the strong satisfaction of achievement when i am done. Well Semi done. *since i stuff my clothes into the messy closet* I am running out of closet space as well. What is in there you might ask... The answers *drum roll please* is tons and tons of boxes! Old boyfriends pictures, wrapping papers that i forgotten about, keyboard!! Yes Keyboard! Next time i might tried storing CPU inside! OH!!!I found this Mango top that a stupid shitty ass aka my ex bought for me! And i havent even wore it before!
Come on, you gotta admit that i am a home cleaner. I am Martha "CarCar" Steward! Ha ha! The simple motivation of wanting to sleep in clean sheets. How powerful. Hence i can never wonder why anyone! ANYONE! would wanna take part in Survivor! 16 people living in tiny and squeezy quarters. Everyone smell like crap. Even if there are any sexy cute guys there, i dont think i would be interested. Put off by the smell!!! And besides, the manipulating, back stabbing etc ... OH BOY! I am no Amber. I cant pull off a Mariano. Its just like walking into my brother's room and sleep there. American Music Awards................
I was watching it and Maroon 5 performed!!!!! *Sunday Morning* I love that song! I was literally flying from my couch! They ROCK! And the Alicia Keys and Usher! WO hoo! DAMN GOOD SONG! My boo- i am totally hooked on that song. Alicia is really great. She could really sing and i love her concert! Thank god i went with Ally at the final hour. Thanks gal for dragging me. :) And Usher.. HOT HOT HOT.. Reminded me of a guy.. *hint hint girls* LOL

The girls and i went and watch this movie on Saturday night after chilling. Saw Kevin infront at Cineleisure! What a coincidence! LOL Anyways this is my first korean flick and what can i say? I totally cant stand the language but the man is gorgeous! I mean look at him!!!!!! After the film, i think all of us just go " Awww... he is so "screw-able"!!! He is cute cute cute. I have more pictures of him that i will post up. You girls are so gonna love me! ;)

Finally last weekend was over. Not that i didnt have fun.
On Saturday, i worked for the MediaCorp event " Subaru Impreza WRX" Challenge. It was humid and rained on me. I had on only a rain poncho at first. But those poor guys standing in the rain! I guess a Subaru car doesnt come cheap. I also saw a couple of DJs up close and personal. Really have to applaud the DJs from Class 95 Fm. They were really nice and classy. And also Audrey Ying. She is really nice. In fact, the MediaCorp people like Steven (Boss), Kim etc .. they are really great. Not stuck up or whatever. I had the 5pm- 11pm shift. However i had to work close to 12am because of RICKY!!! Ha ha! He made me the team leader and i was stucked! See Ricky! LOL Im kidding.
On Sunday, after having about less than 6 hours of sleep, i had to drag my ass to the event again. This time under the scorching sun! I had a friend, Sze Wee, who took part and he was still there! Much respect Bro! Although he didnt make the 24 hours mark, i still give him props. I dont think i could do it for even 10 hours. Sunday was hot hot hot. But on both days, i got to be really close to Glenn Ong and Mark Richmond and they were really CUTE! Phew! *ice ice baby* LOL Then after i finished my shift, i went shopping with my mom , grandma ( I miss her so much), aunt Florence and my bro. Managed to buy some tops etc. Poor Mommy. She must had a heart attack when me and my bro went into the Zara and started looking. Ha ha! But she spent the most on her self.. LOL Well cant blame her. She deserves to pamper herself. BUT she likes to blame me for my brother's transformation of boycotting Giordano and prefering Zara, TOpman etc. Hey not my fault if he wants to look good alright? LOL I am so happy that Sherry said that he looks amazing now. He he. I am feeling really happy for him. He is no longer the "Ah pek" i know. But he needs to work on his table manners. Ha ha! Opps... hope he doesnt read this entry. :P
All in all, a pretty good weekend. Although i missed Winnie. No one to party with! *SOBS* She is back! Yeah yeah yeah! Time to hit the clubs again girls? ;)
