Opps, spoke too soon. My head has been and is still buzzing since this morning. Blame it on my lousy non exsist resistance to delicious red wine. No strong and bitter aftertaste. 5 glasses= 1 bottle and 1 glass. Mom and dad thought that it was funny that i couldnt hold my liquor (which isnt true AT ALL!!!) and teased me endlessly about my headache and poked fun at my misery. *sobs* Having hangovers doesnt make me hungry. Maybe this is the magic of liquid diet. Ha ha!

Anyways, my weekend was pretty eventful.
On Friday, Jacq and me went looking for Winnie, who kindly sponsored us the tickets for Sexpo. * Thanks a bunch gal!*

Me and Win @ Macau Express

    Win and Jacqueline.
Had a wonderful time just sitting there and chatting with the 2 gals. We could form a sorority. I had a feeling that both of them were unwilling to stop gossiping. LOL

Walked around for a bit and then...........
    Sexpo!

If you are under 21, you can pay $2 and gain entry to the convention but what you get will be this:

I cant scream " Sanitary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" enough. You can gain entrance to the "official" Sexpo but it has absolutely nothing to do with sex education. Nadda. Just booths of dating services and what not. It was so ironic. Under 21s can gain entry into a club, smoke and buy alcohol at 18 but not get "educated" about sex. The young adults in Singapore are extremely affluent. They probably surf for porn online anyways and they prolly do. So why hide it? Besides, i feel that they are the bunch that really need to be educated on sexual health.

The whole event felt like a "customs" event. Police was all over the place. Screening security. And there i thought this event was supposed to display our shift in a more open culture on sex. Boy was i wrong about that.

Main exhibits from China's Ancient Sex Museum.

I was pretty much fascinated yet disgusted by some of the items on display. The words that kept surfacing was ".... to torture females...". It gave me more insights to inbalance power of the genders rather than what it was supposed to do.

In some countries which i cant remember, the folks paint pictures of penis on the wall as part of their superstitious beliefs.

Finger Clamp: used to torture prostitutes who cant serve their clients. I wonder what they used to torture male clients who couldnt get it up.

    Ancient dildos? Ouch.

This has got to be the worst i have ever seen. The saddle is used by attaching it to a donkey and the woman has to sit on it. :s I wonder if the person who invented it has ever tried out his or her inventions. How is it possible to endure watching the lady going thru all the pain? It is so bloody sadistic. EW!

Dancers doing a sexy routine, performing to an audience made up mainly of gawking ah peks. They banned inflatable dolls because they were afraid that guys would get over excited but a sexy dance was part of the program? COME ON.

Condoms, vibrators, dildos (rubber ones) and what not for sale.

    Role playing costumes.

All in all, Sexpo was boring and conventional. It didnt challenge exsisting opinions.

    Paradigm shift?
    Yeah right.

    "A uniquely Singapore sex show."
    Absofuckinglutely.

*I will post the pictures of the wedding that i attended on Saturday as soon as i get em.*
