Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. This was the first place we visited in Ayutthaya. The pagodas were huge. It was built in celebration of King Naresuen's victory over the Burmese invaders. The top of the pagoda was visible as our train was approaching the boundary of Ayutthaya. That was how i knew we were near to our destination.
